The fact that this has a current score of 2.04 is everything wrong with newgrounds.
And the world, for that matter.

"I have to throw my hat in with WhiteDragon33."
I didn't even know it was such an integral part of my enjoyment of the series, but I agree that silence can be just as telling in the world of Brackenwood.
I don't know if you're familiar with Jeff Smith or not, but your Brackenwood has always reminded me in some small part of his comic; "Bone." I think with the narration I missed a familiar sense of unfamiliarity that my experiences with Brackenwood have always been met with. If anything, narration makes Brackenwood more "comfortable" and do we want that?
Of course the flash is of exceptional quality, seeing as you are still indeed Adam Phillips. Just wanted to throw my hat in as a longtime fan of your animation. I hope either way we see more of Brackenwood in the future.
Author's Response:
Thanks for your thoughts! I have heard of Jeff Smith and Bone but haven't really explored it, though people keep recommending it to me. I'm taking criticism and comments re: narration on board so thanks for adding your voice.

You deserve nothing but the highest praise for contributing such an original flash on newgrounds. It was exceedingly entertaining and unpredictable.

If you were my age you'd appreciate the fact that he's parodying what we all watched every saturday. It's the same thing as the "Magikarp, splash attack" flash...just a bunch of randomized sequences played over and over on a loop to music that is on a loop.
However in your dialogue you said "you've toiled with my emotions for too long."
You meant to say toyed. For this you get a 6.

And you did it with very simple animation, proving that you can easily convey meaningful things without using elaborate or professional animation.

There was not one author that I didn't laugh or at least smile at. It seems all the people who gave this a bad score didn't get most of the jokes.
Don't let them get you down, it was totally entertaining!

I was laughing so hard I could barely hold it together to play. This game is everything a game should be, plus it has sharks.
When they write the book of EPIC. This will be on the dedication page.

But it would have been a perfect 10/10 if you had been able to sync exactly on the beat. Would have made the flash fully awesome.

When you actually stopped the unending parody of japanese anime dialogue to make a joke (or at least speak in consistently timed syllables to point out the difference) it was funny. I think if you do that more often you'll get more laughs and won't end up beating a dead horse like Kirbopher did with Parody Rangers.
It's got plenty of potential since you are both very talented animators/voice actors...don't fall into that rut and waste your potential.

Every so often we have an Adam Phillips-level flash that just screams innovation, originality and entertainment value. This flash is inspiring and just that; entertaining.
It's funny that "art" as a concept is quite the amalgamation of various aspects and certainly hard to pin down...yet when we encounter it we immediately recognize it.
As is the case with your flash. Congratulationson that, and will there be more?
